We are celebrating our 150th anniversary

150 years ago, Frederick Paget, Englishman and brother of Sir James Paget, personal physician of Queen Victoria, founded our office at Riemergasse. From this date on, our office had the possibility to participate in the exciting development of technology shaped in a decisive way by many of our clients.

In many instances it has been the "small" inventions leading to a breakthrough eventually changing our daily life. Patents relating to such inventions often represent intellectual property of the highest commercial value. However, neither inventors nor patent attorneys are able to foresee the future commercial succes of a given intellectual property right (IPR) when drafting the application therefor. For this reason, we have been taking care for 150 years that each new application for an IPR b treated as if this were the decisive IPR for the future development of that client's enterprise.
