Merger of Sonn, Pawloy, Weinzinger & Wolfram with Dipl.-Ing. Köhler-Pavlik

We are glad to announce that with effect of 1. January 2000 patent attorney's offices of Sonn, Pawloy, Weinzinger & Wolfram and Dipl.-Ing. Köhler-Pavlik are active in merged form as "Sonn, Pawloy, Weinzinger & Köhler-Pavlik" thereby providing for our clients and foreign associates an even broader offer of specifically and individually designed services.

With the present merger we achieve both, advantages for the individual services for our clients and advantages in the internal administration and handling, which also results in an even more optimized cost/price ratio for our clients.

The Köhler-Pavlik office was founded in 1926 by the father of our new partner, Dipl.-Ing Franz Köhler. Dipl.-Ing. Johann Köhler-Pavlik graduated in mechanical engineering after his university studies at the highly reknown Czechoslovakian Technical University in Brno and Vienna. After having joined his father's office in 1953, he was responsible for the steady modernisation and internationalisation of the office. When his father died in 1981, he continued to lead his office independently. Besides a trademark and law department, the office of Mr. Köhler-Pavlik especially had a specialised mechanical and electronical engineering department of high reputation.

We are convinced that the new form of our office enables us to provide for our clients of our united offices an even more efficient service for the individual protection and enforcement of their intellectual property rights.
