Ursula Gröppel is a trademark adviser with SONN. Apart from trademark searches and drafting filing strategies prior to applications her tasks include the perfection of trademark application proceedings on national/European/international level including work on office actions, handling trademark opposition proceedings and elaboration of coexistence agreements to overcome trademark conflicts. She is furthermore specialized in recordal of transfers and name changes in the respective Registers as well as transnational recordal projects.

Ursula Gröppel studied Law at the University of Vienna, further extending her knowledge during an Erasmus scholarship at Alcalá de Henares University in Spain. After graduating, she completed a court internship at the Villach District Court and then worked in Buenos Aires, Argentina, first as an adviser in a commercial law firm and subsequently in a patent attorneys office. Since 2010, Ursula Gröppel has been putting her knowledge to use at SONN. Her correspondence languages are German, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
